What to Look for in Last-Minute Halloween Costumes and Favors

Check delivery dates first. With Halloween only days away, the most important detail is when the item will actually arrive. Look at the estimated delivery date on the product page for your zip code before you add anything to your cart.

Size up when in doubt. Kids' costumes are often worn over regular clothes, a jacket, or long sleeves on a chilly October night. If your child is between sizes, the larger size usually gives more room for layers and movement.

Think about comfort and safety. Little ones need to walk, see, and climb steps easily. Choose costumes that don't drag on the ground, and plan for visibility after dark with a flashlight or reflective accessories.

Count your guests for party favors. Bulk packs are the best value for classroom parties and goodie bags. Count how many kids you need to cover, then pick a pack size that leaves a few extras for siblings and surprise guests.

Mix in non-candy treats. Small toys, bracelets, and bath fizzies are a fun alternative to candy and are handy for kids with food allergies or classrooms with candy rules.

Watch for coupon codes. Several deals below have a code you can enter at checkout for extra savings, which makes a difference when you're buying for a whole class.

FAQ

Will these arrive before Halloween?

It depends on your location and the shipping option. Check the estimated delivery date on each Amazon product page for your address before ordering. If a date shows after October 31, consider a different pick or a faster shipping option.

How many party favors should I buy for a classroom?

Count the number of students, then add a few extras for teachers, siblings, or kids who join late. A 36-pack of slap bracelets covers most classrooms, and pairing it with a second favor like bouncy balls makes each goodie bag feel fuller.

How do I use the coupon codes?

Add the item to your cart, go to checkout, and enter the code in the promo code field. Codes can expire or have limited uses, so confirm the discount shows up before you place the order.

Final Thoughts

You don't need a big budget to give kids a fun Halloween. A simple costume, a festive sweatshirt for school, and a handful of non-candy favors can cover costumes, classroom parties, and trunk-or-treat in one order. Grab what you need soon so it arrives in time, and have a safe, happy Halloween!
